“Education is a shared commitment between dedicated teachers, motivated students and enthusiastic parents with high expectations.”
Today, the role of a school is not only to pursue academic excellence but also to motivate and empower its students to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and productive members of an ever-changing global society. I am honored and feel very privileged to be the Principal of Sacred Soul Convent Senior Secondary School, Ludhiana. The goal of school is to provide an environment to the pupils which incorporates authentic learning and all over development. It allows learners to solve the types of complex problems they face in today’s ever changing and ever evolving world. Our school has an outstanding reputation for establishing high expectations and achieving excellent academic results. Talents too are constantly developed through sports and varied co-curricular activities. This in turn results in widening the scope of education and makes it more consequential. Converting every individual into a self- reliant and independent citizen, the school provides an amalgam of scholastic and co-scholastic activities.
At Sacred Soul Senior Secondary Convent School our approaches to learning is child centric encouraging activity based learning and inculcating a scientific temper and a spirit of free enquiry. In our curriculum the student is the primary focus and each child is involved in the learning process. If a plant is carefully nurtured by a gardner it will become good and produce better fruits. Therefore, children must be given a good training from their earliest childhood. We are here for the same. The parents are the most strengthening power in moulding the future of children. Their consistent support empowers us to do more and more. I pay my gratitude to them for their faith in us.
I am confident enough that our Sacredians will make themselves stronger day by day, adding a new leaf to the grandeur of the school.
Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think.
